- WELCOME
Welcome to volume 29 Torque.  Again, apologies for missing last months Torque but I have been rather ill with a nasty infection which the doctor chose to operate on a couple  of weeks ago.  Things are starting to return to normal in the Minns houshold.
If you have any feedback regarding this issue of Torque then please e-mail me on steve@minvo.com

- LETTERS
From John Elwin:
"Thanks for 'Torque' Email
With regards speed limits, if they improve road safety fine, but I doubt if anyone will actually enforce these respective limits.
In my home town of Aylsham their are many 30 & 20 MPH restrictions that very few people (of all age, sex, or race) actually adhere to these legal limits.
The new mini Rbt near to the new Tesco's store shows how few people actually understand the reason for such facilities, again most drivers go far quicker than the 20 MPH  limit and they appear to think they are an obstacle that should be overcome as quickly as possible with many going straight over the raised surface.
The stretch of road from this mini RBt to the town centre (1/3 mile) is an education; mobiles being used whilst not only in charge of a vehicle but often with children  onboard, Newspapers and atlas's being read and some drivers even drinking cups of tea/coffee.
I bet (hope) they are not IAM Members.
Regards"

- YOUNG DRIVERS
Unfortunately I have been sitting at home with my feet up for more weeks this year than I haven't.  This has had a disastrous effect on my ability to organise the Young  Driver Courses for this year.  The courses are still going ahead but it means I am low on numbers for the course.

Tuesday 16th June and the following three Tuesdays
Tuesday 14th July and the following three Tuesdays
Sunday 6th September and the following three Sundays
